1) Let gratitude prevail
2) Let guidance lead the way
3) Claim your power to choose
At first, I was not going to write a blog for the season, having already written countless pieces by this time and saying about all there is to say. However, last night I changed my mind. Being a music lover at heart, I always search the internet during the Christmas holidays for seasonal concerts. And I am never disappointed. As I was watching last night, I was suddenly quite overwhelmed with gratitude for all the folks with their various talents that make these concerts possible. To list a few: all those who, at one point or the other, invented and created the instruments used by the orchestra, those who make the fabric, design and sew up the robes, those inspired to write the music, the performers who were called to their professions and studied/practiced diligently to become the present day artists/experts they are, those who invented sound systems so all can hear, the architects and builders who make possibly our large gatherings, modern day technology that allows us to appreciate brilliant work from our own homes - and the list goes on!
In fact, not just gratitude about beautiful concerts, but for an endless list. I find myself feeling grateful for things, circumstances, opportunities, friends, family, the reliable intuition that endlessly guides. And I certainly feel grateful knowing there are so many of you who are also choosing to live the best life possible - letting go of grievances, being helpful, following your own certain guidance, recognizing that your thoughts are powerful and create your life experience on a moment by moment basis.
So stop a moment to note the import of this truth. You and only you create your life experience, with others being the players in (not the cause of) the circumstances of your life. What can be better than being totally in charge of our lives through choosing the nature of our thoughts, cultivating our ability to enjoy and appreciate the contributions of others, and
placing a high priority on being truly helpful.
Sending you all good wishes for a beautiful holiday season!
